Jason T. Andrew - jason@smbinsure.com

In addition to working day to day with clients, Jason currently speaks to business and professional groups on health reform and wellness programs, is writing a book on employee benefits for small businesses and serves on the SVAHU (Silicon Valley Association of Health Underwriters) Board of Directors.
 In his spare time he spends enjoys being with his wife of 12 years, Wendy and their three boys; Wesley (9), Thomas (7) and Nathan (4). He enjoys running, hiking, swimming and anything outdoors. He is a self-professed geek who loves any new technology.

Past experience:
Jason brings considerable experience and skill in the field of employee benefits with over 15 years of marketing and consulting expertise. In Jason’s previous role with LHI (Lawson-Hawks Insurance Associates) he focused his consulting work on non-profits, start ups and public entity clients. He has worked as the lead consultant in negotiating, designing, implementing and communicating benefit plans to over 30 public entities and union clients. In addition, he also designed a health insurance pool that enabled over 16 safety bargaining units to pull out of CalPERS, the nations 3rd largest insurance broker. 
Between 2005-2006 Jason’s work resulted in helping the employee benefits division at LHI to double in size making it the fastest growing division at Lawson-Hawks. Between 2007-2008 Jason began running the benefits division at Lawson-Hawks. In April of 2009 he joined together with a seasoned Silicon Valley Entrepreneur, Thomas Alexander, to launch Stone Meadow Benefits & Insurance Associates. 
Jason has been a proponent of the consumer driven health care market and an early adopter himself. He has deep knowledge of alternative strategies including HRA (health reimbursement arrangements) HSA (health savings accounts) and other progressive solutions. Jason works with clients, both individual and group, from in all industries. However, his area of focus is small to medium businesses with employees in range 2-100. Jason’s considerable experience in the health care solutions, planning and implementation arenas facilitates objective client consultation and the installation of unique and esoteric employee benefits plans.
Jason attended Lewis Clark University where he studied International Communications and Japanese.

Brian Drummond assists employers in making difficult benefits decisions through education.  As a trusted advisor, he works to understand a companies needs, researches the best solutions and presents the most responsible alternatives to his clients.   

Brian believes that wellness and prevention play an essential role in every well run employee benefits program.  He works hand in hand with employers and carriers to make sure the needs of diverse employee groups are met.  His service oriented, practical approach to employee benefits has made Brian a trusted consultant and advisor to groups, small and large.
 
Brian holds a Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University.  He is married to Lindsay Lowe Drummond and together with their 3 children, live in Northern California.  In his free time Brian likes sports, food and travel.

Jim Diani is founder of Protected Profits Insurance Inc. and has over 27 years of expertise consulting group employers and educating their employees in all areas of employee benefits. 

Jim’s vast knowledge of healthcare stragagy sets him apart as a leader in self insurance and employer sponsored medical insurance cost management. As an early adopter of HSA's Jime was instrumental in helping many of his clients save as much as 60%.  

Jim excels at his role in helping employers deal with rising health care cost and puts their clients’ interest first.

Jim is a past President of SVAHU (Silicon Valley Association of Health Underwriters) and is extremely well respected by his peers in the health insurance industry.
Rich Farana - rich@smbinsure.com 
Prior to joining Stone Meadow Benefits, Rich was the Director of Corporate Services for Intransa Inc, where he was responsible for the direction of the human resources and communications departments. 
Rich has over thirty years experience in developing award winning campaigns and programs for technology, consumer and public affairs companies. His ability to develop and implement full-service marketing programs, has led to his receiving numerous awards from PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) B/PAA, San Francisco Ad Club and the Orange County Ad Club.
Prior to Intransa, Rich held senior level public relations positions with silicon valley startup’s and high growth companies including; LuxN, TollBridge Technologies, RedCreek, ReleaseNow and NEC Computer Systems. His background also includes senior level positions with public relations / advertising agencies in Silicon Valley and Orange County, California.
Before entering the technology market, Rich was Director of Communications for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), where he developed and managed the communications department for the nations largest small business lobby. Programs included: distribution of news through print and electronic media, internal / external publications, radio / TV spots and VNR for network use.
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Rich received his BA degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University. A veteran, he received an Honorable Discharge for the United States Air Force.

Jan has more than 30 years of HR experience, client service and benefits analysis experience. She takes the time to make sure all our clients are compliant and brings a senior level of expertise in analyzing overall benefit plan design.
Lucy Hoefling - Marketing/Proposals/Service

Lucy is one of the happiest people on the team. She takes care of making sure our clients get access to every possible carrier/provider each year. In addition, she will often answer the phones with the most cheerful voice and help facilitate day to day client needs.
Chris Agrillo - Client Concierge/Support

Claims problems, billing problems, plan questions and general assistance is taken care of by Chris. All on the team can assist but she will spearhead getting items taken care of that are frustrating between you are your provider.
